The startup company Calejo Hybrid Intelligence is storming forward on all fronts. Calejo has now strengthened its team with leading experts in both Sweden and Italy.

Calejo, which works with hybrid intelligence, i.e. a patented combination of both artificial (AI) and human intelligence for the industry, has initially chosen to focus on Smart Water. With the help of its unique technology, the company helps the world's countries, regions, municipalities and water operators to prevent overflows and floods and the severe environmental problems that this cause.

- So far, five successful pilots have been carried out in Sweden and in Italy, a more large-scale initiative is now being planned together with the country's largest water operator. Interest in Calejo's solution is great not only from Europe, but also from the USA and Latin America, says Jonas Berggren, CEO of Calejo.

Leading experts and advisors

To cope with the planned expansion, Calejo has strengthened its organization in both Sweden and Italy. In Italy, a special subsidiary – Calejo Smart Water S.r.l. has been formed. The investors Martin Roos, Stefano Coiro and Jonas Nyberg have joined as actively working experts and board members.

Martin Roos has extensive experience in leading positions within, among others, Ericsson and several other high-tech companies, Stefano Coiro has extensive market experience from, among others, Ericsson and Enel, and Jonas Nyberg has, among others, been active in leading the technological development of the successful company Berg Propulsion.

In Italy, the organization has been strengthened with the AI expert Dr. Vittorio Lippi. Some high specialized and well-known Italian experts in the water and wastewater area are also participating as external advisors.
